Description: Praktikum is a formula based program for processing numerical series. Its advantages show especially when a formula is used many times with different entries, either in a parallel way to form a result list from a argument list (e.g. tables of functions, processing of data series from scientific experiments), or in a serial way, when parameters are used in a calculation (e.g. to show the dependence of a function on a certain parameter, multiple repeating of experiments under varying conditions). It can also be used to determine which mathematical function fits an empirical found numerical correlation. Praktikum has been originally developed to process data acquired by practical studies in natural sciences and has proved very useful in this context. Beside this, we regard Praktikum as a sensible alternative to high priced pocket calculators with graphic display. From version 1.10, you can also generate logarithmic axes, several kinds of axis intersections, clipping, variable line widths and colors. All formulae (including the automatic generated ones) can be exported as plain text or as TeX source code. If you change any variable or formula, all error formulae, tables and diagrams are automatically updated. This package is a demonstration version.
