Description:

Jewel is a Joint Photograph Expert Group image compressor and 
decompressor based on the Independant JPEG Group work.  It can
convert JPEG images to or from GIF, PPM and TARGA images.

It features :
- Use version 4 of the IJG software.
- Speed increase over pure C djpeg or cjpeg when decompressing.
- Optimal memory management using flex.
