Hunter 3.65 - Additional Release Notes -------------------------------- Please select !Hunter3, click Menu and choose "Help" from the "App. '!Hunter3'" submenu for documentation. Development of Hunter 3 has now ceased, and apart from bug repairs and prototyping experiments, will not be developed further. Hunter 4 is currently being developed, but it is a vastly different program, and will initially form part of the FiletypeExtend package. This copy of Hunter includes extra icons and modified templates. These have been modified and augmented for high-resolution and Desktop outline font users. The Templates are style guide compliant. The !RunImage has been squeezed using Acorn Squeeze so that it is StrongARM ready. The Kasoft AddressDevice filing system is included with this version, as it is used internally by Hunter 3.60. Hunter supports interactive help via !Help and !Spy. Hunter will work on RISC OS 2, although the Templates will look rather drab. As of Hunter 3.50, you will require Kasoft FiletypeExtend to run under RISC OS 2. You cannot use the Pipe option (new to version 3.65) on RISC OS 2. A bug in the 3.60 release which prevented it from working on low resolution monitors has now been repaired. I apologise for any inconvenience. It escaped my notice due to a lack of testing of some new code I added just before the public release. But then, isn't it always? I would be very interested to hear from anybody who succesfully translates the Messages and Templates files to another language. I will happily include international support in the next release of Hunter 3 if someone is kind enough to send their translated resources to me.
