Acquiring the package:

Download the uuencoded file and extract using SparkPlug 2 (see the "tools_help"
file in arch/riscos/tools for further info).


Description:

This is a demonstration version of ArMaTuReS, Graham Toal's port of TeX for
the Archimedes.  To save space it only contains three fonts (in tfm and
outline format) so it cannot show maths or do laser printing.  This package
will enable you to evaluate Armatures without having to download the full
system which is 18 Mbytes.  It may also be run from floppy, unlike the full
version.

Included is version 1.00 of Edinburgh Software Products' DVI previewer which
can be used to view TeX output and save it as either sprite or draw files.
