Description: PalMaker allows you to set the 256 colour palette for either the Computer Concepts' ColourCard or State Machine's G8 range cards. PalMaker co-operates with a draw program like Draw or ArtWorks to redraw a document three times, once each for red, green and blue. After the three redraws, PalMaker has access to a 24-bit image of an area of the redrawn document. PalMaker uses then a 'color quantization' technique to get the best 256 colours, and sets the palette according to those values.
