No, this isn't an Acorn User column.

Before uploading these Acorn User archives, I parsed and edited them 
to make sure that all references to old Acorn addresses and 
discontinued services were removed, in order both to save you 
download time and avoid presenting you with outdated information. As 
the December 1989 column was entirely connected with SID (Acorn's now 
defunct Support Information Database, which has had its information 
dissemination facilities essentially replaced by this nice new gleaming 
ftp server) and had no other content, I summarily vapourised it.

This file has been added to clear up any confusion on the part of 
users who were previously under the impression that I'd forgotten to 
upload the December column, or that it had gone missing.
