Snapper is a versatile screen capture program. It allows you to save a specified area of the screen as a sprite, png or jpeg. The modes of operation of Snapper are

    save the entire screen area
    save the window under the mouse pointer, including the window title bar and scroll bars
    save the contents of the window under the mouse, without any of the window furniture
    save the area inside a user definable box, the size and position of which can be adjusted, either by dragging with the mouse or by entering the required values from the keyboard
