INTRODUCTION
============

It must be noted, first and foremost, that this program is shareware. This
means that if you like it and use it, then you are expected to pay a
donation of NZ$20. This will allow to receive a completed copy of this prog.
The fully completed version will enable you to edit the passwords seperately
by use of a special editor program.

Please remember that I am open to constructive critisism. Also send in
bug reports, ideas, letters, money, problems, comics, disks, computers,
virtual reality machines, etc. as you feel appropriate.

HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT
=======================

-First of all, study the program. I have included a text file of the source
code so that you can print it out.
-After you understand how it works, you can then proceed to change it to
suit your own needs.
-This program works on a system of passwords. Each password can load a
different boot file if you wish. If you look at the example provided, each
password loads a different file. It will be necessary to change the path and
pathname to the correct directories that the program can be found on your
hard-disk. If you want, all the boot files can be in different directories.
-To add more users, change the 'check_password' procedure. Then edit the
'bootx' ('x' being any number) procedures and make them do things such as
checking passwords and loading the necessary files. I have called the
current files boot1..3 for ease and understanding. Obviously, these can be
called anything you want, you just have to change the pathname loaded in the
source.
-When you have adjusted to suit your needs, make your new boot file load the
!BootPass prog. On my boot file, this is the only thing loaded because the
other things to be run are in the different boot files.
-It is recommended that when you fix the prog you compile it, if you have a
BASIC compiler, so that no-one can check or change your passwords.
